At the heart of ZOLLER UK’s display was the smile 420 – a world-class tool presetting and measuring machine delivering industry-leading accuracy, repeatability and ease of use. The smile 420 demonstrated how offline tool presetting can help manufacturers reduce machine downtime, improve accuracy and extend tool life by capturing precise tool measurement data prior to production.

Live demonstrations throughout the show highlighted the smile 420’s capabilities in capturing comprehensive tool geometry and transmitting that data seamlessly to CNC machines, helping customers optimise workflows and increase throughput. Visitors also had the opportunity to speak directly with ZOLLER UK’s expert team, who were on hand to discuss individual requirements, offer advice on integrating tool presetting into existing processes, and showcase the broader ZOLLER ecosystem of measurement and tool management solutions.

In addition to the smile 420 demonstrations, ZOLLER UK introduced visitors to its Tool Management Solutions (TMS) software, designed to give manufacturers full control of tooling data across machines and sites — a key driver in reducing setup errors and enhancing efficiency across the production floor.
