ZOLLER UK has returned from MACH 2026 at the NEC Birmingham having delivered its strongest show performance to date, with two systems making their MACH debuts on Stand 20-320 and a record volume of enquiries confirming the growing appetite among UK manufacturers for smarter, more consistent tool management.
Tackling One of Manufacturing’s Most Underestimated Challenges
Stand 20-320 at MACH 2026 was built around a clear principle: every solution on display had to answer a challenge that manufacturers are facing today.
For ZOLLER UK, that challenge is one that runs through virtually every machining environment in the country. Inconsistent tool processes, unplanned downtime, spindle damage and the cumulative cost of avoidable errors are problems that manufacturers often absorb as an operational given. ZOLLER UK’s position is straightforward: they do not have to be. The two systems brought to MACH 2026 for the first time made that case directly.
Two MACH Debuts: ToolBalancer and ToolStation
Making their MACH debuts on the stand were the ToolBalancer and the ToolStation, two systems designed to bring measurable improvements to tool processes from the ground up.
The ToolBalancer addresses one of the most impactful and frequently overlooked factors in machining performance: rotational imbalance. Even minor imbalance in a tool assembly generates vibration that degrades surface finish, accelerates tool wear and, over time, causes significant damage to machine spindles. The ToolBalancer eliminates that risk, combining precision balancing technology with an interface designed for straightforward shop floor use. The result is longer tool life, better surface quality and meaningful protection for high-value machine assets.
The ToolStation brings the same discipline to tool assembly and presetting. Designed for fast, accurate and repeatable workflows, the system reduces the variation and errors that accumulate when tool presetting is managed inconsistently across shifts. For manufacturers running high-mix or multi-shift operations, the gains in consistency and the reduction in setup-related downtime are immediate and quantifiable.
Across five days, both systems attracted sustained interest from visitors across precision engineering, automotive, aerospace and general subcontract manufacturing, with many recognising in the demonstrations problems they were actively experiencing on their own shop floors.

Part of a Broader UK Offering
ZOLLER UK attended MACH 2026 as part of Carfulan Group’s largest ever presence at the show, with all five of the Group’s divisions represented on Stand 20-320. For manufacturers visiting the stand, that broader context reinforced a point that resonates consistently in the market: tool management does not exist in isolation. The ability to discuss presetting and balancing alongside metrology, inspection, large-scale measurement and additive manufacturing within a single conversation is something no other UK partner can replicate.
As Carfulan Group Managing Director Chris Fulton noted during the show: “Clients continually talk about the frustration of going to different suppliers for what they need and the lack of a joined-up approach. We can negate all of this by offering all types of solutions in one place.” ZOLLER UK’s contribution to that proposition is a critical one: without control at the tool level, gains made elsewhere in the manufacturing process are difficult to sustain.
