Project Brief:
TEG manufacture a variety of bespoke and complex components that requires a range of high-quality tooling. They needed to ensure that their tooling was accurate and precise to give them and their customers confidence that the components would be right-first-time.
TEG were looking to update their old tool setting methods to the latest technology and contacted ZOLLER UK to explore their tool management options.

“We needed something consistent to control the tool measurement part of the process and the ZOLLER machines plays an important role in giving us confidence that our tools are measured accurately. We know that when the tool has been loaded into the ZOLLER Smile 600 that it will be able to tell us whether the tool can manufacture and within the tolerances specified to the model. Our percentage of right-first-time parts is now over 98%.” said John.
